How to start internet business?

I would like to start an internet retail business. I would like some detailed step by step advise on how to start a business online. The advice I would like would be, sources of things to sell either purchasing wholesale or dropshipping. How to set up a website, and how to market the goods being sold. To be honest I have tried setting up a website selling beauty products on a dropship basis but I failed due to not knowing how to market the website. I have plenty of time on my hands so any step by step advice will be appreciated
