Does any ebay powerseller used dropship company?

OK, everyone is telling me to stay away from dropship companies. They are all scam and you can't make any money from those companies on ebay. Is that true? I have sold things around my home on ebay and did pretty good at it. BUT, I have nothing else to sell right now from my home. I went to outlit stores and theift stores to buy items, but that's not doing so well. I really did enjoy selling items on ebay and wanted to make a business from it. Any advice?

1. The "drop shippers" and "wholesalers" I've dealt with were scams. Their prices were maybe wholesale if you figured quantity 1 prices, ANY discounter could take their customers and put them out of business. Those scams thrive on the people who don't shop around. I actually heard one of them tell me I was over analyzing when I told her I had to check prices to see if I could make a profit. When I've made a good buy/sell profit, it was mostly being lucky enough to find products with that pricing. Lots of hard work and research is another method. Someone out there is making a lot of money, but I haven't found how they do it. My best guess after all of these years, is they do high quantity and very low profit per item. If you look around ebay, you will some sellers are receiving many thousands of feedbacks a month.
