Wholesalers area in Los Angeles?

Hello, I am going to go to Los Angeles and I would like to go to the area where all the wholesalers are located at. Somebody told me they are in the Financial District, somebody else said in the Garment District. Then, one of my acquaintances says that the wholesalers are located in the Wholesale District. Does anybody know where the wholesalers are located in Los Angeles, please? I understand they are in an area of little streets?? Thank you so much in advance! I had a clothing store so I used to go there all the time, but I mostly shopped in the San Pedro Mart & I'm trying to remember where we used to get our handbags.
