Need help finding quality wholesalers to start up my business!!?
I've been trying to search to find wholesalers of fashion products, however i'm finding it hard to find the wholesalers, its more distributors. Preferably want to purchase goods in australia but will buy from overseas. I've found alot of internet sites trying to sell me books of 'the best wholesalers' etc for $50 and up, but i dont want to buy it and then its just full of cheap crap. I'm interested in quality items. Can point me in the right direction?

- I do this type of business with fake deisgner watches from indonesia. I make at moste a %500 profit doing this. Good luck
- You are right about trying to find wholesales or distributors of products in your own backyard first. It just makes doing business much easier. I don't know the situation in Australia but I can tell you from personal experience that many wholesalers and distributors can be tough to find (in your own area). This is one instance where I suggest you NOT use the internet. Use your local yellow pages and see what you can find. Most W&D operations don't use, or need, big flashy ads, either on the internet or in the phone book. I once looked for a particular distributor of a product for several weeks, only to realize they were literally 2 km's away from me! And you can always visit stores in your area that sell similar products and ask them (in a covert way) where they get the products from. The internet is a great tool for many things. But in your case, you've got to focus on LOCAL W&D businesses. It takes more than just typing search words into Google to find them in your own backyard. Cheers and good luck.
- Find the name of the product you want to sell, call up the manufacturer and they will either require you to buy a minimum amount of their product, or they can refer you to a distributor that will be able to sell to you smaller quanitity
- You should look in to http://www.toptenwholesale.com. They give you free access to their entire database of wholesale distributors. You shouldn't have to pay for things that you can find online on your own. It's a great resource that I've personally had a lot of success with. Good luck.
- try alibaba.com I run a small business myself..feel free to email me. I might know a couple of good sources for you
