Help finding clothing wholesalers/suppliers/manufacturers in Australia?

Hi! I am looking for wholesalers of plus sized clothing and gothic clothing in Australia, I am also looking for a wholesaler for surf brands like Billabong and Stussy, etc. I would also be happy to find someone who sews that wants to sell their gear online! I am a stay at home Mum with a disability and have started an online store but I need more suppliers, I would be happy to import, just don't know where to start! I just want to make a living, so many have told me I can't do it, I am sick of being on the pension and being disabled! I am sure I can do this and have loads of family support! I just want to prove the knockers wrong. If anyone knows where I can get suppliers or any help at all, please let me know! Thanks so very much!

Being in Australia myself i can tell you that you need to focus your attention on importing from o/s the range of clothing that will work for you to distribute through the region. www.globalsources.com is a site i am registered with and use to identify good suppliers endorsed by govt overseas....this would be a good starting point. Other regions to consider include (China, Philliphines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia) you need to be sure that all contracts and supply arrangements include the price being for delivery to you (no hidden surprises in the contracts) so if it doen not arrive on time then you pay with a penalty....or if it does not arrive at all then you dont pay at all!!
