Whats hot to sell on ebay? UK wholesalers?
I recently had a baby so have been out of work and to be honest i dont really want to return to my old job after my maternity leave is up. Im thinking of starting a selling a buying buisness of my own through ebay. I have an ebay account already it should be no problem BUT im not really sure what i should sell and buy. I have signed up with some wholesaler sites and the deals are so good for what you would pay in the shops but im not sure if id make money on ebay on them. so the question is in your experience what did you make money on buying and selling on ebay? is it worth it? what should i sell? and do you know of any UK wholesalers? many thanks in advance

- Nothing is hot. Search in YouTube, eBay strike. There is a war between the seller and the company eBay. Most foriegn seller continue selling because they are still make profit off of US dollars value.
- I would say the best thing and easiest to sell is dvd's. If you can get them cheap they usually sell high depending on what they are. Im currently a member to a site that sells wholesale television series for unbelievably cheap and they ship them directly to my customers for free. Ive been doing it for about 6 months and im making around $300 a week. The sopranos is a winner. Seasons 1-6.2 are selling on ebay for around $200 and im receiving it at wholesale price of $108 with free shipping. star trek sells good on half.com and gilmore girls and charmed are good for amazon.com. Its a real money maker. i suggest you take a look. http://dvdondemand.ecrater.com/
- There is money to be earned on the eBay market but you have to be a wealthy person to actually buy from wholesalers because they only sell in bulk which is large quantities to make sure they make a profit, most of the time the higher the amount in the bulk the lower the price per item in the bulk, thus people that can invest money into their business can buy their product in bigger bulks for cheaper. I would recommend using a drop shipper, that is if you have a big base of loyal customers, many people are not willing to pay retail or a bit less than retail on eBay and they don't bid as much because they want really good deals, which they get most of the time. If you had a physical business a dropshipper would be a god idea but you would make more profit from a Wholesaler. I know of a Dropshipper starting to Dropship in the UK if you want to give it a shot here's the link http://www.dropship-business.com/index.html?aid=232492 I bought their basic plan and i have to tell you there's a lot of competition on eBay and cant make much profit, But if you bought the package with the Website plan on it and you could get lots of people to look at it and make it become popular you could make profit because it's your own website. Plus they dont charge any hosting fee's unlike regular website hosting services and it's a one time fee. There is no competition on your website how could there? Unlike eBay with thousands of sellers. So that's all the info i got for small time businesses or little people just starting out it can be hard without a wholesaler, but again i recomend that if you use Dropshipdesign.com that you get the plan with your own website.
