can I start an ebay business buying for others?

I want to start an ebay business but rather than selling I want to buy for people that don't have the time. Has anyone tried this approach. I know that many people like myself can do their own buying but some people don't have the time but want the deal. Has anyone tried this?

1. You'll have people that won't pay, and you're stuck with it. I doubt you'd get much interest. Why pay extra when you could do it yourself?
2. I may work...there are already sites out there that BID for buyers. I've never use one but from what I've read they work very well. Check out these: http://www.auctionsniper.com/ http://www.bidrobot.com/ As far as really buying the item, I would be leery about getting paid from the person you purchase the item for.
