How to get a supplier for a online ebay business?

I'm looking to sell items on e-bay but i dont know how to go about getting a supplier. I think it would be a great oppertunity to make some extra cash and go for a business partner.

1. alibaba.com is a website where wholesale suppliers are listed, mainly from china, but china produces everything so... just be sure that you don't get ripped, make a thorough investigation for the company and make sure you can communicate easily with them.
