Can anybody tell me how I get started in dropshipping?

I,m just looking to make a bit of extra cash and if anybody has any advice for me at all and can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. Would it cost me anything to get started?

1. have you tried www.nofranchising.co.uk? They give me great support and advice, i was up and running within 1 week, and by following there advice i earned over £1k in my first three weeks.
2. Honestly... It's really a matter of personal preference for WHAT you want to sell...but if you want to make money, there are some good sites out there that will let you buy items for cheap (wholesale), so that you can re-sell them on ebay, or wherever you want. I wrote up an article on that subject, actually...But if you want the summary of it, I use a wholesaler known as salehoo, and to be honest, they're got pretty damn good deals. If you want to look at their site and see some of the products, their website is located here: http://www.salehoo.com/secrets/?hop=jlenney For example: I can buy a Sony Ericsson W910 cell phone for $282.95, and RE-sell it on ebay for $415 or so (give or take)..that's about $130 PROFIT from one single item. Um, off the top of my head, some OTHER things you can on there for wholesale are Gucci Sunglasses, Cell phones, Yes London Jeans, PS3's, psps and a HECK of alot more! 3. It's good to hear you're trying to make some extra money. I was just like you when I started to dropship back in 2003. 4. Well, you can earn some pocket money you start with dropshipping. But trust me after a while, it can become your main income. There are many ways to start, but I would say that one of the basic things you need is a website which will cost you as low as 2 pounds per month with your domain (http://www.brinkster.com/redirect.aspx?rf=frizedynamics). And later you can go for places like http://www.worldwidebrands.com and have a 150 pounds subscription for life (I know, is a big investment). This website is one of the top in the market.
