Dropshipping???

Has anyone heard of dropshipping?? If so can you give me any info on it??

1. This is where you sell things, but they are shipped from a central location. You have no inventory, and don't pay for items until you've sold them, but you also have no control over how fast items are shipped, or whether or not they get there. Usually a bad idea.
2. Dropshipping is where the someone buys merchandise from a company and the company ships the merchandise to the purchasers customers under the purchasers name. Sample: You have a retail website but no inventory. A customer places a order, and you order the products from your supplier. The supplier ships the merchandise to your customer under your company name which is called dropshipping
